Be a Voice for Abused and Neglected Children
Since 2002, The Kansas City Child Abuse Roundtable Coalition, a group of advocates and elected officials, has joined together to promote awareness of child abuse and the prevention, training and treatment services available in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Over 30 community agencies have brought needed attention to this important issue through cooperation and educational opportunities for adults and children. In 2006, the group expanded to become a bi-state effort. Please endorse the 2008 KC Child Abuse Roundtable Coalition's Legislative Priorities.

What Can You Do?

Wear Blue Day
On April 18, 2008, Kansas Citizens will ban together to wear blue as a visible commitment to support child abuse prevention month. Together with your friends, neighbors and co-workers you can pledge to take this simple step to show everyone you care. One person can make a difference, and it can start with you... Wear Blue. Click here to take the "Wear Blue" pledge.

Spread the Word
Keep kids safe by knowing the signs, what to do and who to contact. You can download the 2008 Child Abuse Prevention Month flyer, poster and table tent to help you share this important information within your community.
