Our Organization:

Jeanetta Issa, M.P.A. CEO/President

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for overall agency administration and operations. As CEO, she provides information and leadership to a 15-18 Member Board of Directors and supervises the key leaders of the organization working to create opportunities for enhancing the agency's work within and without the organization. She provides oversight of all fiscal areas including compliance with government and funder requirements for audits and financial reporting.

"We have such excellent, skilled staff one of my major roles is to continue to develop resources to provide tools, adequate facilities and the motivation for staff to keep doing the excellent work they have been doing the last 30 years," states Ms Issa. Jeanetta assists in the development of, and the monitoring of the Mission, Values and the strategic direction of the organization and is responsible for hiring and supervision of 20 staff and an additional 10-15 master's & bachelor's level student interns.

Jeanetta hails from Colorado and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado (Buffalos) and completed her Masters in Public Administration at the University of Kansas (go Jayhawks!) Jeanetta joined CAPA in June 2005 and brings with her 25 years of leadership in Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention Organizations, as well as city and county government management. She is active in her church, volunteers with local projects and thoroughly enjoys her family and walking with her big black lab.
