As Resource Development Coordinator, Janet provides leadership for all of the collaborative efforts in communication and development. Janet serves as the Volunteer Coordinator, Communications Specialist, Events Coordinator, and Grants Manager. She has extensive work experience in a variety of communications organizations, including non-profit, news media, and public relations. Janet has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri.
Janet loves working for a non-profit, and greatly enjoys the challenge of raising awareness and money in order to improve the lives of children in need. She gained a lot of experience in this area while working for a national child sponsorship organization. Janet has also worked as a reporter in both radio and television news.
Janet is very active in her church; and when not spending time with her son and her Yorkie, she likes to volunteer at a local homeless shelter in Westport.
