Education Services
Community education and other classes increase awareness of abuse and its prevention, improve parenting skills, and teach personal safety skills to children.
- S.A.F.E. Kids and Teens
- SAFE Kids is a comprehensive prevention program targeted to children, as well as parents/primary caregivers, teachers and counselors. SAFE Kids and Teens offers a complete set of prevention services: core concepts presentations, reinforcement activities, parent information meetings, consultation and support services. These programs enhance self-esteem, relationship skills and the ability to resolve conflict with non-violent actions. Programs include: I am the Boss of My Body, Healthy Relationships, Bullying and Anger Management, Internet Safety & Cyber Predator Awareness.
- F.O.C.I.S. (Focus on Children in Separation)
- Educational classes to help parents and children move constructively through divorce.
- $46.00 dollar fee (fee is for parent only, children are included in the fee)
- Two consecutive Tues. evenings 6:00-8:00
- On-going classes (two evenings required to complete the class)

- Love and Logic classes for 2010
- Feb 1 – Mar 22 (7 Mon. evenings) 6:00-8:00
- April 19 – June 7 (7 Mon. evenings) 6:00-8:00

- Parenting Education
- Becoming a Love & Logic Parent is a 7-week parenting class intended to help adults improve their parenting skills and confidence. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes and logic allows them to live with the consequences of their actions.
- Community Outreach & Education
- Community presentations are available through our Speakers Bureau and cover a variety of child abuse/neglect topics.
- Mandated Reporter Trainings - Provided to early childhood educators, school districts and the faith community.
- Lunch & Learn - Presentations on a variety of educational topics to strengthen families and offer information on child abuse/neglect and its prevention.
- Helpline
- A resource available to the general public that helps link people in need of help with community-based organizations.
