Special Events
The Child Abuse Prevention Association is hosting its first Black & Orange Bash on Friday, October 29th, 2010 in order to raise money to prevent and treat child abuse. This festive celebration of CAPA community will be held in the Muehlebach Room of the Boulevard Brewery on Kansas City's historic Southwest Boulevard. Get creative with your costume and you could win the first-place prize in the contest. Those who come straight from work will be able to buy a mask, designed by one of our very own CAPA kids.
This incredible party begins at 6pm with and array of delectable hors d'oeuvres and a wide selection of Boulevard beers on tap, along with a variety of soft drinks, which are included with your reservation. Premier Boulevard Wine will be available by the glass for purchase. Live entertainment and dancing will begin at 7:00 when the Automatics take the stage.
Guest will able to take tours of the largest specialty brewery in Missouri during the early hours of the evening. The Boulevard Brewery was constructed in a turn-of-the-century brick building on Kansas City's historic Southwest Boulevard. A vintage Bavarian brewhouse was installed, and the first batches of beer were produced in the fall of 1989.
Before or after your tour, make sure that you take the time to check out some the unique and must-have silent auction items. Two front-row tickets to see Sinbad at the Ameristar Casino are only one of the preferred items. Each guest will also take home a Black & Orange Bash/Boulevard Brewery souvenir pint glass. Don't miss the fun...make your reservations online today!
Guest must be 21 years of age.
